Strings in C#

String is an object of System.String class that represents sequence of characters In C# 'string' is a keyword which is an alias for system.String class The literal string becomes a template when it's prefixed by the $ character , the thing is called string interpolation e.g. string message = $" {greeting} {firstName} ! Good Morning" ; String methods (System.String) Clone CompareTo : Returns integer Contains EndsWith Equals : Returns boolean ToUpper ToLower Insert IndexOf Concat : It's a static method StringBuilder example: *StringBuilder class have differnet methods then System.String class e.g. Append etc.

Partial Classes and Methods in C#

You can split the implementation of a class, a struct, a method or an interface in multiple .cs files by using the partial keyword. Multiple developers can work simultaneously on the same class in different files. Partial Methods A partial class may contain partial methods One part of the class contains the signature of the method An optional implementation may be defined in the same part or another part Must use partial keyword and must return void both declaration and implementation of the method must have the partial keyword

Static classes in C#

A static class can be used as a convenient container for sets of methods that just operate on input parameters and do not have to get or set any internal instance fields . Use the static modifier to declare a static member, which belongs to the type itself rather than to a specific object A static class is basically the same as a non-static class, but there is one difference: a static class cannot be instantiated. In other words, you cannot use the new operator to create a variable of the class type. Because there is no instance variable, you access the members of a static class by using the class name itself.
